Steve Hurd, Senior Pastor

Steve has been our pastor since 1996.  Steve is married to Karen and they have five children.  He graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1989 with an M.Div and pastored a church in the metro-east area of St. Louis until coming here.  Steve also has a B.S. in Psychology and Criminal Justice.  He has worked as a Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army, a part-time Deputy Sheriff, a drywall taper & finisher, and loaded trucks for UPS.  He likes Science Fiction, enjoys deer hunting, riding his ATV, and is refreshed by being in the outdoors or working in his shop.  He currently volunteers in the Eau Claire Co. Jail leading a weekly Bible Study and serves as a Police Chaplain for a local department.  Unfortunately he has been known to tell bad jokes.  Steve is genuine and a regular guy seeking to follow Christ.  Steve's heart is to connect people with Jesus and help them to grow in that relationship.
